Make this reliable slow cooker spinach artichoke dip for your next gathering. It stays perfectly warm in the Crock-Pot, making it an ideal set-it-and-forget-it appetizer for graduation parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise into the basin of your slow cooker. Mix until smooth.
  2. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, dried spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix all ingredients together until they are fully combined.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hours, or on HIGH for 1 to 1.5 hours. Stir the dip halfway through the cooking time.
  4. Once the dip is hot and bubbly, switch the slow cooker setting to the KEEP WARM setting for serving. Serve this Crockpot appetizer directly from the slow cooker.

Notes

  • Squeeze as much liquid as possible from the thawed spinach; excess water will make your dip runny.
  • For extra flavor, add 1/4 cup of chopped green onions during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • This recipe is great for make ahead party snacks; assemble everything the day before and refrigerate, then place directly into the slow cooker when ready to heat.
