Make a fizzy and fruity guava lime margarita with fresh mint for a premium self-care moment halfway through your week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz guava nectar
  • 0.5 oz orange liqueur
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup
  • 4 fresh mint leaves
  • Lime wheel and mint sprig for garnish
  • Coarse salt or sugar for rim (optional)

Instructions

  1. If using a rim, rub a lime wedge around the edge of your glass and dip it into salt or sugar.
  2. Place the mint leaves and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Gently muddle the mint to release its oils.
  3. Add the tequila, lime juice, guava nectar, and orange liqueur to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice.
  5. Seal the shaker and shake well until thoroughly chilled, about 15 seconds.
  6. Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  7. Garnish with a lime wheel and a fresh mint sprig.

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, increase the simple syrup to 0.5 oz.
  • Use high-quality guava nectar for the best tropical flavor.
  • If you do not have simple syrup, mix equal parts sugar and hot water until dissolved, then cool completely.
