Ingredients
Scale
1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20 recommended)
12 slices bacon, cooked crisp
12 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined; do not overmix.
Form the meat mixture into a rectangle that fits the size of the Hawaiian rolls package.
Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected.
Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
Place the cheese slices evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. Top the cheese with the cooked bacon slices. Place the top half of the rolls over the bacon.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, and poppy seeds. Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls. Serve immediately as finger food for parties.
Notes
For the best flavor, use high-quality bacon.
You can substitute cheddar cheese with provolone or pepper jack for a different taste profile.
If you want a slightly sweeter glaze, add 1 teaspoon of brown sugar to the butter mixture.
