Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups chopped nectarines (about 67 medium nectarines)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop nectarines into small pieces.
  2. Combine nectarines, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a large pot.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens (about 20-25 minutes).
  4. Test the jam by placing a small amount on a cold plate. If it gels, it’s ready.
  5. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal tightly.

Notes

  • Store sealed jars in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
  • For canning, process jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
