A comforting and easy-to-make casserole that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy tater tots. Perfect for a family dinner or potluck.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and cream of mushroom soup. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
  6. Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, add diced pickles or bacon bits.
  • Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
