- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
